Applications for Fall 2017 will be open March 1 through June 15, 2017.  

Information provided in the application will be used to determine eligibility for the program.  The application must be complete and all official supporting documents must be received in order for the application to be considered. Applicants will be selected based on academic standing, work/volunteer experience, personal accomplishments, and career goals. The admissions committee will review the applications as they arrive and make decisions on an ongoing basis.


1.  Complete the online Feather River College General Admission Application.

2.  Complete the Equine and Ranch Management Bachelor of Science Application and submit as an attachment in an email to Leslie Mikesell, Director of Admissions, at  The application is a fillable PDF. Save a copy to your computer and then fill it out using Adobe. This will allow you to save a copy before submitting. There are two applications to choose from.

3.  Submit all appropriate transcripts, test scores, and/or score reports to: Admissions and Records, 570 Golden Eagle Avenue, Quincy, CA 95971.  These documents must be official copies and the application will not be reviewed by the committee until all of these are received.

Freshman/First time College Student - submit official ACT and/or SAT scores, advanced placement course score reports, and transcripts from all high schools and colleges attended (not necessary for students with FRC records).

Former/Current FRC or Transfer Student - submit official transcripts from all colleges attended (not necessary for students with FRC records.)
